Keynote Speaker

Marko Orel
Associate Professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
Marko Orel is an organizational sociologist and Associate Professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where he directs the Extended Realities Research Lab (ERRL) and leads the Centre for Workplace Research (CWER). His research explores the evolution of hybrid work and how immersive technologies transform collaboration, organizational culture, and workplace design. He combines sociological insight with experimental methods to study human behavior and team dynamics in virtual environments, advancing new perspectives on work and organization in the digital age.
Invited Talk

Magdalena Wróbel-Lachowska
Assistant Professor at the Institute of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology.
An economist and sociologist by training, she holds a PhD in knowledge management in logistics education, based on the Łódź region. Her research interests focus on ergonomics and human factors in interaction design in anthropotechnical systems, particularly in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She is a member of the UbiComp Research Group, where she conducts interdisciplinary research on multi-sensory interaction design and user experience in educational processes. She is also interested in shaping student and teacher learning through the implementation of active teaching methods such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), and Design Thinking (DT).
For years, she has been promoting knowledge about the accessibility and usability of information and communication technologies and the role of digital literacy, particularly in the context of the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly.
She co-creates the Lodz University of Technology podcast “Artificial Intelligence in a Human Way”, in which she and experts discuss the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in an accessible way.

Joanna Kurowska-Pysz
Associate Professor at the WSB University in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Head of the Department of Management, Director of the Technology Transfer Centre and Deputy Head of the Doctoral School.
Joanna Kurowska-Pysz holds a postdoctoral degree in management and quality science. Her research interests are focused on project management, innovation management, and inter-organisational and territorial cooperation. She is the author of nearly 200 scientific publications and expert studies, and a participant in many projects co-financed by, among others, the Horizon Europe, Erasmus Plus, INTERREG, and POIR programs. She constantly invests in personal development, as evidenced by the trainings she has completed at prestigious centres such as Harvard Business School, Harvard’s BOK Center, GPM Global, American Management Association and London Business School.
For many years, she combined academic work with expert services. Since 2013, she has been the main shareholder of KREATUS Ltd., a consultancy specialising in project management and regional development. Since 2018, she has been developing R&D projects at the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Since 2019, she has also been collaborating with DG REGIO of the European Commission. She is a member of the supervisory boards of GPW Logistics SA and ENEA Nowa Energia SA.

Adam Gałuszka
Professor of automation and robotics at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
He obtained a doctorate in technical sciences in the discipline of automation and robotics in 2001 and a habilitation degree in the discipline of automation and robotics in 2014. He gained professional experience during internships in Germany (Ruhr-Universitat Bochum), Italy, (University of L’Aquila, Dept. of Pure and Applied Mathematics), Ireland (University College Dublin, 118th European Study Group with Industry), Romania (Transilvania University of Brasov). He is a member of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Electrical Engineering (PTETiS) and The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Currently serves as a Chair of the Disciplinary Council for Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and Space Technologies at the Silesian University of Technology, and deputy head of the Department of Automation and Robotics.
His research interests are focused on issues related to artificial intelligence, static optimization, theory of games and graphs, in particular planning algorithms and their computational complexity, using elements of game theory and linear programming in planning. Didactic activity is related to objects related to optimization methods, control theory, and methods of artificial intelligence.
Scientific achievements include approx. 200 publications, including journals in the Philadelphia list, as well as participation in research and development projects as a manager of research groups or contractor.
